Diary of Ella Pearson, 1869-1870.

Pearson kept her diary in a printed 1868 pocket diary and also used it for notes and accounts. The diary has a few brief entries recording the voyage to San Francisco via Panama but mostly it spans her life in Nevada County. Entries are short but almost daily, noting where she went and who she saw. She often mentions "Ed" who may be Edward Deering.
